These are fantastic and I like that the Excel file is there too so each
club can personalize it. I think I may take them back to my club.

It is fairly easy with commercially available software to convert the
Adobe PDF version into an editable Word or Excel document, although it
doesn't look as nice without some work (fonts, lines, etc). Heck,
someone could even scan the paper doc using OCR if they were desperate!

I'm not sure what the motivation was to try to protect the docs from
alteration -- they are much more useful if you can at least put in your
own club's name somewhere. As long as the copyright and the original
creator's credit remains, it should be a lot like various "free"
software licenses (open source).

I am cc'ing the e-mail address of the author, in case he would care to
comment.
