$Most people have cellphones these days, and many of these have a stopwatch

Not portable, though if you are practicing a speech at home, whoi said
the stove had to be portable?

Hans-

My clubs have used four different methods:

a) Stop watch and colored cards, manual operation
b) Stop watch and large, home made colored light apparatus, manual
operation
c) Automatic timing light, not sold by TI any more. It is about 10"
high, 4" wide, 3" deep. Green light on top, then amber, then red at
bottom. There is a dial on the back that you turn to take to a number
that fires up a preset time combination. It has an LED on the back
that tells you how much time has lapsed.
d) Automatic timing light, I don't think this is sold by TI now. It is
about 4" high, 6" wide, 2" deep. Timing lights run green-amber-red
from left to right as speaker sees clock. It also has an LED with
actual time lapsed, but it is on the front of the clock.

Hi,

just wondering what the various clubs are using for the time keeping.
We currently use a digital stopwatch, but members find it not the most
easy thing to use.
