Linkedin is perhaps the most active international plateform,
in the Q&A service, several questions are about public speaking or
leadership.

Examples :

# Worst public speaking moment?
http://www.linkedin.com/answers/career-education/career-development/CAR_CRD/166397-9900470

# Are Coaches, Mentors and Role Models important?
http://www.linkedin.com/answers/startups-small-businesses/small-business/STR_SMB/106096-10617874

# If you've ever said, "That was a great presentation!" tell us why.
http://www.linkedin.com/answers/career-education/occupational-training/CAR_OCT/166185-18810263

# What are the top three issues facing professional business communicators?
http://www.linkedin.com/answers/marketing-sales/writing-editing/MAR_WED/150709-6357552

If you are a Toastmasters members and a Linkedin member,
perhaps is it the opportunity to share the add-value of our no profit
organization ?

I can think of 2 Toastmasters fitting this description. They are affiliated
with http://www.d13tm.com/ or District 13 Toastmasters. The individuals are
Michael Cortes and Trina Hess. Both are excellent Toastmasters and citizens.
You can try to find them using http://www.linkedin.com/. If anyone does,
feel free to use my name(see contact info). Good luck with your networking
pursuits using Linkedin.com/.

Hi Richard,

Michael is already member of our Linkedin group,
http://www.linkedin.com/in/michaelcortes

I've send an invitation to Trina,
thanks for the introduction.

Most of our networking resources are now listed on
http://www.toastmasters-networking.org

Linkedin allows local research,
a great tool for sending invitations.

Facebook and Xing have similar free services

Thanks for your encouragement Smile
