Verizon dropping alt.* newsgroups

So, if you have Verizon DSL and wish to keep accessing this group, you'll
need to find another method of access.

I saw this as a Verizon user and am disappointed. However, I'll access this
and others in the alt* category by visiting http://groups.google.com/ This
will definitely give new meaning to GOOGLING it. lol and hahahahahaha
